Obituary for Margie Williams Farmer
Funeral services for Margie Williams Farmer, 83, of Bethune will be held at 11:00 o’clock am, Saturday, July 7, in the sanctuary of Timrod Baptist Church. The Revs. Jeremy Ussery and Jeff Grubbs will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Farmer, loving wife of the late Lynell “Tee” Farmer died Tuesday, July 3, at A. Sam Karesh Long-term Care, Camden. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Dendy and Eva Coates Williams. Mrs. Williams retired from the Kendall Co. and was a member of Timrod Baptist Church. She also loved to knit and spend time with her family.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Deborah Lynn Farmer Gerald and her husband, Danny of Rockingham, NC, Janice Farmer McPherson and her husband, Hazel of Bethune and Brenda Farmer Vaughan and her husband Myron of Lugoff; 4 grandchildren, Timothy Vaughan and his wife Shannon, Justin Vaughan and his wife Katie, Jessica McPherson and Michael McPherson; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Joe Earl Williams and his wife Peggy, John Henry Williams and his wife Carol; 3 sisters-in-law, Linda E. Williams, Frances D. Williams and Mildred Jenell L. Williams all of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lynell Farmer and 3 brothers, Quinn Williams, Mendel Williams and Donald Williams.
The family will receive friends following the burial in the church fellowship hall.
