Obituary for Charles Michael "Mike" McPherson
Funeral services for Charles Michael “Mike” McPherson, 61 of Kershaw, will be held at 4:00 o’clock pm, Saturday, May 12, 2018, in the sanctuary of Bethany Baptist Church, Westville, where he was a member. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Craigan Blankenship and Dean Reynolds will conduct the service.
Mr. McPherson died Wednesday, May 9, at his home. Born in Camden, he was a son of Margaret Kirkland Colvin and the late William Malcolm McPherson. He was a pipe fabricator. Mr. McPherson loved to hunt, fish and ride his motorcycle. He also loved to work in his yard.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 16 years, Peggy Owens McPherson; children, Margaret “Maggie” Booker and her husband, Brian, Neena Agrawal, Amanda Agrawal, Millie Agrawal and her husband, Alexander Hallman, Ryan McPherson and his fiancée, Tabitha Mayer; a sister, Terri Allred and her husband, Bobby; a brother, Ricky McPherson and 5 grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Will McPherson and 2 brothers, Randy McPherson and Scott McPherson.
The family will receive friends immediately following the burial at Bethany Baptist Church Family Life Center and at his home and the home of his mother.
